Redeeming Tuesday.

In all honesty, I just haven't felt it today. This blog thing. I wanted to have something profound to say... wasn't happening today. I have been tired and the kids being kids just about got the best of me...

My favorite thing about Tuesday? This little link up I've participated in for a while now over at Call Me Blessed called We Encourage Tuesday. Not only is it an opportunity to click around and be encouraged by bloggers world wide over and over again but more importantly (especially today) it is a weekly opportunity to evaluate my life and what God is speaking to me in order that I may encourage others. Rather than possibly sitting here frustrated and beat, I made a choice...

My encouragement today?

When you feel like quitting and shutting down, do the opposite.

Get up.

GO.

I almost missed out on a B-E-A-UTIFUL day.

I almost missed out on memories with my kids.

I almost missed out on meeting someone new.

I almost missed out on a new photo.

I almost missed out on feeling a little bit refreshed.

Good thing almost doesn't count.

I'm still not completely "feeling it" but as my friend Amanda so honestly gently put it, I'm stubborn... or dedicated. Yes, definitely dedicated :)

So let me encourage you to get outside... take a look around and thank Him for the beautiful creations... the skies, the temps, the trees. Thank Him for those precious moments with your children and conversations with strangers that don't feel so much like strangers because they 'get it'. They've been there, done that.
